I *heart* AMERICAN IDOL!

Hey Gang!

Everywhere you look, the country is talking about American Idol.

Everyone is a critic, including myself.

Plain and simple, I LOVE AMERICAN IDOL.

In my 30 years here on earth, I've grown up around music,

and honestly, I think I've got a pretty good ear.

I can't sing, but I think I am a pretty good judge

of what sounds good and what doesn't.

(And alot of times I just have to listen because I can't watch the moving wooshing camera angles now that they are competing on the big stage.)

So I've decided I'd be WORG's Idol Critic for Season 7.

And not only do I comment on the singing, but the wardrobe,

the personality, the entire package.

After all, it's not just a singing competition (obviously)!

Here it goes!  Please keep in mind this is just for fun!  And I try to ignore the controversy and the extra stuff the media pulls out each week about the contestants.

Tuesday, May 20

Themes:  Clive Davis' picks / "Idol" song / individual's choice

My write-up tonight is going to be VERY simple.

I was very scared in the beginning.  Seacrest wasn't the one to say "THIS... is American Idol!"  I thought he was sick or missing... but luckily he was there.  Seacrest really is my Idol.  I'd love to job shadow him for about a week.  Anyway, to Idol...

Cook:  Boring. / What did he just sing? / I agree with Simon, he should have performed "Hello" or "Billie Jean."  Cook lost it for himself tonight.  One word for Cook tonight:  boring.  Plain and simple BORING.

Archuleta:  When he finally stood up off the stairs, he was awesome. / You'll hear that song on WORG as soon as we get it.  He pours his heart and soul into every performance - "in it to win it tonight baby!" as Randy would say. / I had to hold back the tears for "Imagine."  It made me cry last time, gave me the goose bumps this time.  I am gonna be a wreck Wednesday night watching the finale.  EMS better be standing by because he is going to have a heart attack or faint when he wins.  If he wins, I'll cry.  If he loses, I'll cry even harder.

I voted tonight, the first time I've voted since Carrie Underwood's season.  To my idol pal Phil, ALL OUR VOTES COUNT!  Every single one.. or two.. or three.  To Bebo (shout out!) I tried to call with ideas but your old self must of already been asleep!  Haha!

My prediction, since auditions:  DAVID ARCHULETA, AMERICAN IDOL.

Hey Randy, it's 2008 dawg!

OK, it's Wednesday night, and my idol pal and I are watching the finale - and you know it's better than the Super Bowl (even with the Justin Timberlake commercials)!

"Cook was cooked by the chef Archuleta." -Phillip Ford

So we know boxers vs. briefs thanks to the guitar game commercial - TMI!  And Paula uses tape.  Bryan Adams and George Michael are gettin' OLD.

My fave performance of the night, so far at least, is definitely One Republic and Archuleta - "Apologize" is my new fave song.  We play it all the time on WORG.

Ten more minutes til we know the winner... 56 to 44... I hope my votes are in the 56%!!!  93 million votes, some of them were mine!

The judges did it - they won it for Cook last night by saying Archuleta had it by a landslide!

I am toooooooo upset right now..............................

Don't forget to email or fax in your prediction

on who you think will be

the winner or eliminated

- BE VERY SPECIFIC -

by 5pm EST on Wednesday!

Fax 803 516-0704 or email idol@worg.com!

Tuesday:  May 13

Themes: judge's choice / individual's choice / producers' choice

Ryan Seacrest is my Idol.

Archuleta:  And so... he should totally win Idol.  I just watch in awe every single performance.  /  He is toooooo smart - getting more votes by trying something different and ALL the teens will vote for him!  Work the crowd cutie!  Not my favorite performance of his but that was very very smart.  I like smart people!  /  Sam I know you are diggin' some DF right now!  That was so-so.  He's still my fave.

Syesha:  Yes she looks great, but that is such a HUGE song to try to cover.  She did really well though.  Still think it will be the boys in the finale.  You did hear Randy say that is how she was "number 3" - I think the entire country knows that!  /  Gosh she takes on some BIG songs!  She looks sooooo pretty though!  She is acting - that works for her.  She is gonna make it huge on broadway!  She is workin' hard on the MALE vote too!  I wouldn't say that was "lame" Simon!  /  OK all the judges have pretty much said she is the third wheel.  Yep.

Cook:  Interesting.  A nice change. /  Oh I like this song... Oh he is awfully pitchy in the beginning!  His lower range is very pitchy.  The entire song was pitchy.  (Thanks Randy!)  I am glad I am watching this on my lil tv instead of the big screen tonight, or I'd be on the floor spinning along with the cameras tonight!  /  I am personally not a fan of this song at all.  Is he sick tonight or what?  He can't hit a note!  Stop the strobe lights!  He is just off tonight.  But good enough to go head to head with Archuleta next week.

Just a comment to the judges:  don't comment on the song choice when the PRODUCERS pick the songs!!!

So David vs. David.  *Archuleta is betta!*  I have the flair on my facebook page.

So after thinking about it... and talking on the air about it... my idol pal Phil (aka my Orangeburg Idol) and I started wondering... what if Syesha really beats out Cook?  Then there would be a landslide next week for Archuleta!  But my original prediction was right - the Davids in the final.  I think I called that about 8 weeks ago!

Tuesday, May 6

Theme: Rock-n-Roll

Let's do this!

Hey kids, do you know what records are?  Lol.

Cook:  Now usually I love his performances, but I am not so hungry about this one.  STOP THE STROBE LIGHTS.  Seriously, how do people perform and sit in there and watch that?!  Totally distracting.  Anyway, I am not feelin' it tonight.  He'll still make it to the finale.

I'll go ahead and say it - I've thought it for weeks - the two Davids will be in the finale.  They SHOULD be.  Castro needed to go weeks ago.  Syesha is good, but not as good.  I don't think Cook needs to win Idol to make it big, and sometimes it is actually beneficial not to win, but for Archuleta, it will be the push he needs to make it on the scene.

Syesha: TOOOOOOO SLOOOOOOW.  Get down girl!  She's getting votes on the dancin' tonite peeps!

Nice chest hair Simon.

Castro:  Jamaican-me want to shoot the tv dude!  Did you see Simon?  I know what is going through his head.  No no no no no.  We're thinking Bob Marley wants to shoot the singer!  I am talking to my best idol bud as I watch this and we just don't get what is going on tonite.

Archuleta:  Is Stand By Me rock-n-roll?  Man he is G-O-O-D!  Awesome as always.

Round 1: Archuleta, hands down.

Cook (aka the Joker): Phil says he looks like the joker when he smiles, especially when he closes his eyes when he sings.  LOL.  I totally see it.  He should have owned this night but I don't think so.  New rule: guys can only wear one necklace max, and only certain guys can get away with it.

Syesha:  This is NOT rock-n-roll to me.  Syesha will rock on broadway.

Castro:  Am I on an island somewhere?  He turns everything into reggae.  Well Cook turns everything into rock so I guess that's fair.  It's your last night buddy.  Got a text from my BFF that said crash and burn.  Yep.

Simon may have saved him a few votes with the pack your bags comments, but, I think he needs to go.

Archuleta:  He won the show tonight.  He is THE American Idol for 2008.

Like there was any doubt that Castro was leaving.

Tuesday, April 29

Theme: Neil Diamond

Sorry folks, but I missed the first half of the show.  It's recorded though, so I'll watch it and post comments on what I missed later...

Castro:  Seems like this music is right up his alley.  Booooring.  I wish he would belt something out one night though.  He's got a career in the music biz ahead of him regardless of when he gets eliminated.  As long as he plays the guitar when he performs...

Cook:  Most women who love music will say something along the lines of.. there's just something about a guy playing a guitar.  You all know that for the longest time I really didn't like this guy, but it was because of his ego, not because of his ability, cause he rocks!  He is amazing and super talented!  There's just something about him that sucks you in!  Let me say this.. David Cook does NOT need to win Idol.  Someone else needs the title to help their career along because Cook's is going to skyrocket immediately regardless.  Cook will be the biggest success from this season, much like Daughtry from 5.

Brooke:  I love her on the piano.  She is gonna be nervous here on out after her big season goof up.  But she is great overall, love her!  I can't wait to watch her first performance after hearing the judges comments.

Archuleta:  I can hear my dad singing right along with him to this one!  Whoa voice crack!  Simon better not say this is corny!  This is definitely an '08 version baby!  He is adorable!

Syesha:  Finally have some fun on stage girl!  And you are you, not pretending to be someone on broadway!  Love the purple dress and barefeet too!  Not her best vocal performance but she has made huge strides in the last two weeks!  Yeah Randy, put her on broadway - she'd be perfect there!  Simon just bought her votes.

From just the second performances, I'd say Castro has alot to worry about.  I said that last week too and I was majorly wrong!  I'll try to watch the first half soon and post quickly!  Well I can watch playback... Castro is cheesy... Cook on the guitar rockin' a little hard there... Brooke, right song, wrong performance sweetie... Archuleta, you know how to pick the right songs... Syesha showing some diversity in her range tonight.  I'll say the only two that don't have to worry are the Davids.  I will be super shocked if one of them leaves this week!

Wednesday... as usual, wa-ter-works!  It's so hard now that we are down to such a few.

Tuesday, April 22

Theme: music of Andrew Lloyd Weber

I've been wondering all week if we will be hearing broadway show tunes since Andrew Lloyd Weber is the guest mentor... now I'm waiting on Ryan to tell us!  Paula has been looking much prettier and dressing much better the last 3 weeks!  Thank heavens she ditched the gloves!  So yep, theatre music tonight - yay!  The contestants that have a hard time connecting are going to have a tough time this week...

Man they are taking forever!  Alot of filler chit chat to fill an hour up for all the sponsors' commercials!

Syesha:  I am scared for her this week cause she doesn't usually connect.  She looks gorgeous!  She sounds great, looks great, and actually looks comfy on stage.  Good job this week!

Castro:  I had no idea ALW wrote this song!  I didn't know it came from "Cats" either.  I kept waiting on him to start wailing (no pun intended) but he never did.  Love that song but not my fave Castro performance.

Brooke:  What's up with that dress girl?  She should have cried during the performance.  Oh I hate that she messed it up in the beginning.  Then she was nervous the entire song.  Not digging it tonight.  She is gonna get backstage and cry her eyes out.  She would get more votes if she did it on stage!

Archuleta:  I have a feeling he is gonna rule the night!!!  I just have to sit and watch him.  He draws me in.  LOVE HIM!  He blew me away!

Carly:  She should sing "Don't Cry."  She could power vocal that through the ceiling!  My hub hates her outfit, but it's a nice change from her typical.  This girl has such a powerful voice!!!  AWESOME!

Cook:  This should be interesting... (Daniel Bates I am sooooo missing you right now!)  I'd rather him sing rock.

Brooke and Castro aren't going to sleep well tonight.  They have alot to worry about.  Goodnight!

It's now Wednesday night... note to my dad - I told you they may only have a bottom 2!!!  But will I be right in predicting Brooke and Castro as the bottom 2???

Yay Davids!  Like we didn't know they'd be safe.

OK I've never heard of this chick Simon discovered.  Cool song.

Wow.  Didn't see that coming - Brooke being safe.  She does have a huge fan base but she was in the bottom 2 last week, so I guess her fans knew they had double-duty to vote for her last night.  I agree with whichever judge that said that was Syesha's best performance this season.  She belongs on broadway - she said she was more comfortable being someone else on stage, so switch gears and be successful!

Carly better be safe after a killer performance last night!  At this point, Castro has the weakest vocal talent of the 6...

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.  Castro must have an even bigger fan base!

And here comes the waterworks.  From me.  Phil, our girl is gone!!!

Tuesday, April 15

Theme:  Mariah

Let's see if I can pull myself together and be open-minded watching Idol this week.  I am still shocked from Michael's elimination last week - the big shocker of the season!  But let's remember Daughtry's shocker, even though that was top 4, and look how successful and amazing his career is!  Love him!

So for six and a half seasons, all we've heard from the judges is "don't do Mariah" cause no one can compare.  But tonight, she is the guest coach or whatever that is called... mentor, that's it (thanks Ryan).  So I've been wondering for days if the contestants are going to sing her songs?!  Syesha may be the only girl that can reach half of the high range of Mariah (even though Carly is the best female vocalist) but I just can't imagine the dudes singing her songs.  I guess we'll find out soon, cause THIS... IS AMERICAN IDOL!

Archuleta:  Listen to those riffs!  Awesome, as usual!  How cute, he is soooo star struck!  He is so cute but one night he is gonna puke on stage.  If he wins, I think he's gonna hurl!  Lol!

Carly:  Love you girl but I am not diggin' the arrangement.  However, I didn't realize Carly had such a wide range!  The end much better than the beginning - she sounded much better higher than lower.  And she looks very pretty and dolled up.

Syesha:  Love her dress!  I told you she could hit those high notes!!!  There wasn't much to that song other than hitting high notes over and over again.  But she sounded great!  I wish she would just have more personality on stage.

Brooke:  Oh wow, I think this "Hero" is a great song choice, and she hasn't even started yet.  Ok switch from guitar to piano.  Brooke is showin' us her range too - I'm pleasantly surprised!  She is shaking, I'm sure her nerves are going crazy singing one of the greatest Mariah songs ever!  Loved it!  I always do!

...Simon's analogies are so far-fetched, but I am gonna borrow that in the future...

Kristy Lee:  Wow.  She's got some powerhouse vocals too.  Where has she been hiding them all season???  She has a great voice!  I don't know that song but she could put that out right now and it would climb the charts - country and AC.

Cook:  Hairstylist, please!  OK is Mariah gonna do a duet with him on this?  I want to dislike him soooooooooo much but he is sooooooooo good.  Argh.  Is he finally humbled tonight???  I pray, cause darn he's amazing.

...TMI but my husband is snoring through Idol.  How can he do that?  It must be really boring because he has been zzzzzzzzz-ing since Carly...

Castro:  I LOVE the arrangement - sounds like a completely different song.  I was scared when he didn't start with the guitar but I think this was a great performance, it showed off his vocal skills.

Every week it is going to get tougher and tougher to pinpoint one person who needs to go home.  I really do think this season has some of the best talent ever.  From here on out it is going to be sad to see people leave, even though Michael should still be here!  Agreed - the guys dominated over the girls this week!

My prediction: it's a toughy, but the girls are in a trouble... Carly especially.

OK, Elliot Yamin just made me cry.  Our prayers are with his family!

Break... waiting on Archuleta... please don't make him choose a side, he may really really cry!  I love him.  My guess is Castro, Carly, and Syesha are the bottom 3, just because I think Carly is leaving even though it's Syesha's turn.

What is up with Mariah's hand gestures while she is singing?!?

OMG Carly is safe!!!!!!!!!!  We have alot of wrong predictors this week in Idol Madness, including myself.

Boooooooos echo through my house.

More tears.  I am gonna cry like every week here on out.

Tuesday, April 8

Theme:  Inspirational Songs

Michael:  I'm sure the ladies will be "dreamin'" about Michael Johns tonight!  My friends and I LOVE LOVE LOVE him!  Oh Randy who cares if that was pitchy?!  He takes risks, he sings well, he is talented, popular, a nice guy... he is an Idol!  I could listen to him talk all day long - love the accent!!!

Syesha:  She is a pretty and sweet girl, so genuine, but she just lacks in the personality department.  I am going to love her version better than Fantasia's cause it won't be squeaky!  Syesha sounds great tonight!

Jason:  You play it dude!  If he didn't have an instrument in his hand every night, he'da been gone a long time ago.  But he has AN, not THE, "it" factor that makes him likeable by most.  But not my BFF (shout out)!  I liked it!

Kristy Lee:  I love this song!  She always wears sequin tops.  Ewwwww pitch pitch pitch - find it!  I have the goose bumps!  LOVED IT!

Cook:  What on earth is he wearing???  He's losing votes this week... and here's why... not enough people know the song he is singing.  It started off terrible, now he is shouting in front of the judges.  Not great.  He has a huge fan base though.  Phil (shout out!), Simon has caught on... "pompous!"

Carly:  Sam (shout out!), where are the tights???  Tight pants though - close enough.  Lol!  I couldn't watch the performance (thanks to the strobe lights) but this girl has amazing pipes!!!  Not the most popular song for her tonight.

Archuleta:  Oh the piano!  More votes just for the use of an instrument.  He always puts a smile on my face.  I just sit and watch in awe.  He sings from his heart.  As always, awesome!  Simon, don't lose votes for him by saying he'll said to the next round - that will cause people not to vote!  And "Angels" is def a WORG song!

Brooke:  She should have played the piano!!!  Beautiful.  Just beautiful.

I am pretty much speechless at the dismissal of Michael Johns.  At this moment, I am too choked up to even think.  My husband thinks I'm crazy... tears right now... and my cell phone is going nuts with calls and texts cause everyone knows that I love Michael Johns and everyone else loves him too!!!!  This is crazy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Tuesday, April 1

Theme:  Dolly!

I must say I am glad the show is only going to be an hour long - that means not alot of chit-chat, just singing and commercials!  And honestly, I've got a headache the size of Simon's ego, so I'm ready to get the show on the road!  (Hey Phil, you liked that, didn't you?!  Lol!)

Ha ha hottie.. I mean Ryan.. April Fools!

Brooke:  She knows how to pick the right songs!  She is going to be a HUGE star!  (I wonder if Brooke did Paula's hair??)

David Cook:  Giving credit where credit is due.  Good for him.  And he got a much needed haircut.  There is a note that none of them can hit.  The background girls are off tonight!  I am not familiar with that song so I am not really diggin' it, but y'all know he's not my fave.  But he's good.

Rami:  She lacks... pizzaz (or however you spell it).  I am just always bored during her performances.  I agree with Paula when she mentioned connecting - I don't think she connects with the songs are the audiences any week.

Castro:  I wanna know what he looks like without the hair.  This is my favorite performance of his all season!  Love that song!

Carly:  She has the best voice!!!  She has powerhouse vocals but I am glad she just let loose this week.  As for Simon's fashion advice, my BFF has been commenting about her tights for weeks!!!  I got a text from her that said "tights again this week!" before Simon even had a chance to comment.

Archuleta:  He is adorable.  Looks like my cousin Mitch.  He can sing anything and I love it!

Kristy Lee:  This is your night to shine girl!  Great job!

Syesha:  She didn't want to copy Whitney but tried to at the end.  Missed one note but made up for it with the last two!  Boring!

Michael:  He could sing anything and I'd love it too!  Oh how cool, Dolly wants to write for him!  What a compliment!  He is awesome!!!  On fire!!!

And once again, guess who I think SHOULD go home?  SHE should have gone home weeks and weeks and weeks ago!  RAMIELE is my prediction this week!

Comment on Wednesday's show: the new band - the lead singer looks scary!!!  And pay attention to Castro's dance moves next week!  He was goin' to town tonight!!

Finally!  Ramiele is in the bottom 3!  About time.  I agree with Paula - it's about connecting, and she just doesn't connect at all.  Sure she can sing, but she isn't a "star" like an Idol should be, IMHO.

Kristy Lee - think positive girl!!!  You weren't in the bottom 3 last week!

Will the 3rd contestant on the stool be a shocker... or will it be Syesha?

SUPER SHOCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Not Brooke!

It was an emotional night, but the right girl went home.

Tuesday, March 25

Theme:  the year the contestant was born

I get the goose bumps when Ryan says "THIS... is American Idol!"

WHAT ON EARTH IS PAULA WEARING???

Ramiele:  Oh one of my favorite songs EVER - Heart "Alone" - oh she sounds awful and pitchy and she's shouting.  Boooooooo.

Jason:  Never heard this song in my life.  Doesn't matter - as long as he keeps that guitar in his hands, he'll advance each week.

Syesha:  Geez, the video showed that she may actually have a personality!  Great vocals tonight!!!  'Bout time girl!  That is the girl I loved during auditions!

Chikezie:  I like that he slowed it down tonight.  He sounds really good.  I think the judges will approve.  Better wardrobe this week too!  Hehe!

Brooke:  Started out super!  Then she sang the same note through the entire hook.  She's still my favorite girl!

Michael:  Oh you know I love this guy!  Too bad I couldn't WATCH his performance because of all the blinking lights, but he SOUNDS awesome to me!

Carly:  She sounded hoarse.  Ummm.. don't know what to say.  Not my fave tonight but she is awesome anyway.  She is just nervous - she was in the bottom 3 last week so I'm sure the nerves had kicked in.  (I'm not sure what the bathroom comment was about either?!?  My cell is going nuts with texts from friends right now!  Hey y'all!)

Archuleta:  Awww.. there are alot of broken-hearted teens in America right now with his gf in the audience.  Sweetie, what are you singing?  Eww.. some bad   notes.  Don't bring your gf back, she is bad luck.  Still love him too though!  ROTF LOL at Simon.  (Like the text talk?  Gotta keep it PG.)

Kristy Lee:  OK I really wanted a fly over at the end of that!  God Bless the USA!  She shouldn't be going home this week either!  I cannot believe that the judges loved her song choice!  It was great!

Cook:  I had lots of my friends tell me they thought he was quite egotistical last week.  We'll see if he has an attitude change this week.  (Doubtful.)  Ummm.. the big head comment is sorta appropriate!  Kidding.  But that explains the bad hair.  MJ - I am really gonna keep my thoughts to myself on this arrangement.  I will say that I love the 80s MJ.

My prediction on who SHOULD be eliminated is easy.  SHOULD and WILL is never the same though.  Once again, Rami SHOULD go.  And she didn't make it to the bottom 3.  She must have a huge fan base.  Ok I agree with Chikezie being in the bottom 3 and I understand him going home.  I've been predicting Syesha would go home for weeks, but this week she knocked it out of the park, but ended up in the bottom 3.  That is why it is up to people who VOTE, not to critics and judges.

I'm glad credit was given where credit was due on one of the performances as well.  That has not been done enough this season and people are starting to doubt the credibility of these potential future artists!!

I want to say a special hello to my IBF (Idol Bud Forever!) - you know who you are! - I am praying for you and your family!  Miss you!  :-)

Tuesday, March 18

Theme:  The Beatles (only the best boy band ever!)

Amanda:  Scream and shout.

Kristy Lee:  I'm predicting (during commercial break) that she won't be nearly as country this week.. if she has half a brain.  Cowboy boots and a dress full of sequins - thanks wardrobe!  Half the song was totally repeated.  Didn't like it.

"Musical Wallpaper" - gotta remember that phrase.  Thanks Simon.

Archuleta:  How pure is his voice?!  He is awesome!

Michael:  Honestly, I am not familiar with that song, but whatever he sings is great.  He missed one high note, but otherwise, it was alright.

...I noticed the monitors too - since when can they use ears on Idol???...

Brooke:  How cute is her yellow sunny dress!!!  She is my favorite out of all the girls.  She's just pure and simple and so talented!  She is so nice that she thanks the judges for being not as nice as usual.  Love her!  She is sorta awkward without an instrument in front of her, but she is a true musician so hopefully she'll get back into her element next week.

Cook:  Will he razzle dazzle me again this week?  Still don't like him but he's a good performer.  Ok, not impressed this week at all.  Too hard rock for a Beatles song for me.  He is a little cocky!  Yes, Simon, "smug" is a great word.

Carly:  Always tremendous vocals.  Powerhouse.  Best female vocalist even though she doesn't have the sweetness and perkiness of Brooke.  But those two are my favorite girls.

Castro:  Why do I get the feeling Simon is going to say "cruise ship"???  Hated it.

Syesha:  Hernandez was supposed to be singing this song this week!  My favorite performance of hers this season.  Arrangement pretty good BUT I didn't like how high she sang for the first half of the song.

Chikezie:  Surely he has played the harmonica before.  Idol can't be the debut for it.  Ok he just went folk on us!!!!  A good performance turned bad.

Ramiele:  Trying to be seductive singing one of the *funnest* songs ever!  Didn't like it.

OK I'm going all out and predicting the bottom 3:

Chikezie, Ramiele, and Kristy Lee... with Rami going home

Geez was I wrong!  With Amanda's speech after her performance on Tuesday, I figured she had motivated her fans enough to vote her right into the Tour.  Nope!  I think Kristy Lee feels soooo bad for everyone who gets eliminated because she is always in the bottom 3, but now she'll get her 10th place finish prediction, go on tour, and maybe even get to be mentored by Dolly.

And may I just add... the judges seemed disappointed in the performances Tuesday night, and for Beatles night, I was disappointed too.  But I was even more disappointed in the opening number - snooze fest!

Kellie Pickler - ditzy and adorable and I WANT HER HAIRCUT!

. . . . .

Tuesday, March 11

Theme: Lennon & McCartney

I write my comments as I'm watching...

I like to beat Randy, Paula, and Simon to the punch!

Syesha:  Pitchy pitchy pitchy, but she can wail those high notes!  But her outfit... wardrobe, please!  I actually don't think she should have been in the Top 12 - Asia'h had much more personality on stage!

Chikezie:  Another one who juuuust made it into the Top 12.  His tie doesn't match his sweater.  How cool - he started sitting with the band.  But he is shouting!  He is having fun though!

...Hey Simon, I don't think Chikezie is the one who has been drinking, I think RYAN has been!!!!!... Oh how I adore Ryan Seacrest!

Ramiele:  She is too cute (reminds me of a dear friend)!  How did she walk down the stairs in those shoes?!?  She looks soooo pretty (except for the belt!) and sounds like she's been singing songs like this for years.  Her best performance so far in the competition!  Yet last week, I had her going home...

Jason:  Now usually Castro is the boring one... not the best vocals but playing that guitar makes him pretty good.  A few weeks ago I think it was Simon who said that he wasn't a good vocalist but the guitar made him a good performer.  Simon is right.  Jason is so passionate about music and it shows.  He isn't on Idol to become a star but because he loves music.

Carly:  Wow, the make-up crew has made her gorgeous.  When I think of her though, one word comes to mind: ouch.  Tattoos gotta hurt!!!  Rock-n-roll come together!  I predict the judges will say "that could be a single on the radio right now."  We'd play it too!  Simon was too busy winking at her to say that...

Cook:  My least favorite of the Davids.  He isn't in the DavidSquared.  His attitude a few weeks ago turned me off.  But his electric guitar version of "Hello" was sooooo good, it almost made me sick.  And dude, get a haircut.  This must be Pearl Jam's version.  Dang, he's a good rocker yet again this week.  But he is NO CHRIS DAUGHTRY, who is the best male contestant from Idol EVER.

Brooke:  That brought tears to my eyes.  Enough said.

Hernandez:  One heck of a performer!  "Papa Was A Rolling Stone" was one of the BEST performances ever in Idol history (IMHO), so the rest of his performances aren't gonna be as good.  I will agree with the judges, a little over the top.  Love him though!  Did anyone else notice how much make-up he had on??

Amanda:  I love watching her during the choreographed performances 'cause she ain't go no rhythm when it comes to moving in an orderly fashion.  Lol.  Ever noticed that she NEVER looks at the camera when she performs?!  Her hair and her pants match.  Even her extensions are wild.  She is wild!

Michael:  I could listen to him talk all day long with that aussie accent.  I could listen to him sing all day too.  One of my faves this season.  He sings from the heart too.  There are a few contestants that don't need to win Idol to make it big.  He is definitely one of them.

Kristy Lee:  What a HUGE risk.  I actually liked it but it was waaaaaay too fast.  But she was off beat or something in the middle.  She is not the best vocalist but I thought it was better than what the judges thought.

Archuleta:  Let's end the night with the best performance from my favorite David!  I think he just botched up the lyrics... why is he sooo nervous???  But he tried to work it out.  He has a big enough fan base that it won't matter that he messed up.  What a cutie!

Who do I think is going home?  SYESHA.  Well, at least she was in the bottom three.  Kristy Lee - no shock.  But Hernandez?!  I yelled at the tv when the was pulled to the bottom three.  I yelled even more when he was sent home.  But he's right, this is definitely NOT the last we'll see of David Hernandez.
