The Wellness Celebration provides information

on maintaining overall wellness

in the categories of

health, community, economics, and quality of life

for members of the Orangeburg,

Calhoun, and Bamberg tri-county area.

It is a chance for the community to come together

and encourages education and economic stimulation.

Most importantly, it is a resource to educate people

on their holistic wellness.

During the Wellness Celebration,

organizations and businesses can showcase their services

to thousands of community members who will

visit exhibits, watch demonstrations,

and learn about various forms of wellness

throughout the day during the Celebration.

Again in 2008, the Wellness Celebration will host

a 5K run around the perimeter of the Prince of Orange Mall

early Saturday morning before the Celebration begins.

There will also be a Mall Walk inside the mall

prior to the Celebration where Turning Point can show you

how simple exercise like walking is great for your body!

For your education and enjoyment, activities such as

health demonstrations and entertainment will be held

in Center Court throughout the day. 

Wellness - it's not just about your physical health,

but also about your mental and financial well-being,

your quality of life including your spirituality,

and your involvement in your community.
